Commercial Loan Support Specialist
Gorham Savings Bank seeks a front desk professional to join its Commercial Loan Department on Marginal Way in Portland. While consistently projecting the Bank’s image with a professional, positive, and pleasant demeanor, this individual will be responsible for greeting visitors and vendors, performing clerical services such as monitoring insurances, tracking loan volume and overdrafts, credit references/credit reports, assisting in maintaining order in the file room, sorting mail, ordering supplies, and maintaining calendar for Marginal Way conference rooms. This position is also responsible for performing lease fundings for the Leasing Department, handling UCC filings, processing withdrawn and declined commercial files and updating pipeline report accordingly as well as performing various typing tasks including correspondence, compiling reports, and data entry for tracking systems. As needed, assists Commercial Loan Administrators. Applicants must have one to two years experience in an office setting along with working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Previous banking/commercial experience a plus. Must also have excellent customer service skills, good communication and public relation skills and possesses a willingness to cooperate and assist others.
